    Partner CTO and Strategist | Microsoft

    James is a Partner CTO & Strategist at Microsoft. He helps Microsoft’s Partner network leverage the best technology in the world “to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more”. He has a broad background across Higher Education, Healthcare, Advisory, and even ran a Managed Service Provider called Babeltech many moons ago. Whilst he is a technologist, James actually studied Neuroscience and Immunology at Uni and worked as a chef in the past.

    His passion for Technology started when tinkering with computers and game consoles as a youngster, and then developed into building his own machines in his teenage years. Once he started scratching that itch, he couldn’t stop – so he built a company around that and helped small business and domestic clients leverage technology to improve their work and home lives.

    Executive Consultant/Industry Analyst, Tech Research Asia

    Mark Iles is an Executive Consultant and Industry Analyst with Tech Research Asia and an experienced board level executive and CEO with over 25 years in the Software, IT and Telecommunications industry spanning markets in Europe and Asia Pacific with businesses from large multi-national corporations to mid-cap private equity ventures.

    Mark has a deep and broad understanding of key trends and the overall IT&T landscape in Asia-Pacific with a specific focus on Enterprise Software, Cloud and Data Centre technologies including (Software-defined) Networking, Security and IoT. Mark is a frequent speaker at industry events and forums and a contributor to several magazines and is active in the start-up community.
