Paul Bristow is a Business Success Mager for rhipe, a Crayon Company, based in Sydney. He assists partners in building their Managed Services practice by providing them with Modern Work and Security solutions. Before joining rhipe, Paul worked for several Managed Services and SI companies, and clients in both Enterprise and SMB. In his earlier years, he co-founded his own company, ELF Technologies (now Serengeti Law).

Throughout his career, Paul has gained extensive practical experience, starting in Engineering and progressing through Sales, Marketing, and Company Management.

Alaa Rahal is a Pre-sales expert with over 15 years of experience in IT. He has a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and has established himself as a seasoned professional in the field of cloud technology and digital transformation. Alaa is committed to helping customers leverage the full power of the Microsoft 365 platform to achieve their business goals. In our workshop, he will demonstrate how to easily deploy and configure MS Defender for Business.

James Buzzard

Partner CTO and Technology Strategist, Microsoft

James Buzzard is a Partner CTO and Technology Strategist. James works with Partners to help them strategically leverage the breadth and depth of the Microsoft portfolio for their clients. James has experience working in advisory firms, higher education and has run his own MSP. James has a diverse background, having trained in Neuroscience and worked as a chef in the past. Vlad Costa is an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect with a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Currently, he works at Crayon, where he helps businesses leverage the power of cloud technology to drive innovation and growth. He is also a certified Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert and holds several other cloud technology and security certifications.

Michael Brook

BSM - Cyber Security

Michael Brooke is a pre-sales consultant for Cyber security primarily aligned to assisting businesses do more with less, use the solutions they have in place now but are not leveraging to provide a solid security posture. He works with most of the Microsoft security stack across the main asset types: Data, Identity, Applications, Endpoints, Network and Infrastructure.

To him sufficient cyber resilience means not being at the back of the pack, it also means continuous iteration to improve and move forward towards As Secure As Practical.

In his spare time he enjoys talking about securing organisations and implementing Microsoft technologies to assist clients get the most from their licenses.

Michael is an industry-recognized cybersecurity leader with over 20 years of experience in the field. He has worked with some of the largest organizations in Australia and New Zealand to help them achieve their cybersecurity goals. Michael is passionate about helping businesses stay secure in an ever-changing threat landscape.

Eric Yun is a promoter/evangelist of Azure Cloud Computing as a Presales Cloud Solutions Architect. Helping on Designing, building, and optimizing Microsoft solutions based around Azure is one of his main responsibilities with the team at rhipe/crayon. His passion is advising customers on how rhipe/crayon's partner/customer can maximise their Azure investment with the right solutioning in a cost effectively. By providing technical support, he helps partners to secure new opportunities, provide technical training and solve complex problems.	Tovia Va’aelua entered the Information and [Communications] Technology Industry in 1998 as his first job graduating from University. Working with large corporations in the Tech Industry, Tovia has spent the majority of his Tech experience working with Microsoft both here in NZ and 9 years in the Philippines. It was here that he discovered his passion for working with under-served communities and using technology as a vehicle to solving some complex problems. Returning to New Zealand at the end of 2018, Tovia joined rhipe as the New Zealand Country Manager, being promoted shortly after to the Sales General Manager for Australasia with his most recent role as the General Manager for the Technology Advisory Group. All of these roles focused on helping Partners to build profitability and sustainability into their businesses. Over and above the new career, Tovia continued his passion of “giving back” by becoming the Chair of Pasifika in I.T. which is a Non-Profit organization that encourages South Pacific minority groups to join the tech industry and add more diversity to the talent pool. This has created more opportunity to take on other Social Good initiatives to help not only the local community but also the local and global markets as a whole. All this has played a critical part in Tovia heading into this new and exciting chapter as he sets his sights on leading the way for Crayon’s Environmental, Social and Governance practices locally in Asia Pacific.
